It flaunts 6.28 inches AMOLED display panel along with screen resolutions of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Xiaomi 12 also comes with the support of a 20-9 aspect ratio, 89.2% screen-to-body ratio,  HDR10+, 12-bit color support, 419 PPI density, and 1100 nits of peak brightness, and Dolby Vision. Powering the phone is the latest and powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen 1 processor. The device is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage onboard. As for the optics of the smartphone, Xiaomi 12 sports a triple rear camera setup. It consists of a 50 MP, f/1.9 aperture primary camera with OIS support, a 5 MP telephoto lens, and a 13 MP, f/2.4, aperture ultra-wide-angle camera along with a 123˚ Field of View. 

Xiaomi 12 comes equipped with a 4,500mAh battery with the support for 67W fast charging. It also has 50W wireless charging, and 10W Reverse wireless charging technology. Furthermore, the phone features 5G Network, 4G LTE, (2.4/5Ghz) Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, AGPS, Glonass, Beidou, NavIC, NFC, USB Type-C, Dolby Atmos,  stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon, etc. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner and Ai Face Unlock.

Xiaomi 12 Pro

The smartphone is the successor to the Xiaomi 11 Pro. It comes fueled with the powerful flagship chipset, Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen 1. In terms of memory configuration, the device is attached with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and a 64/128GB UFS 3.1 Internal storage option. The phone runs on Android 12 software with MIUI 13 skin on top. Likewise, the flagship phone features an enormous 6.73 inches Samsung E5 LTPO AMOLED display with a higher 120Hz refresh rate and WQHD+ 1440 x 3200 pixels resolutions. 

In the photography department, the Xiaomi 12 Pro arrives with a triple camera at the back. It sports a 50 MP Sony IMX707 primary camera with an f/1.9 aperture, a 50 MP Samsung S5KJN1 ultra-wide-angle lens along with a 115-degree FOV, and a 50 MP Samsung S5KJN1 telephoto lens with up to 2x optical zoom. The smartphone houses a single 32 MP Selfie camera at the front. The flagship phone boasts a huge 4,600mAh battery. It supports 120W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. It is available in different color options like Black, Blue, Green, and Pink.

Xiaomi 12X 

The smartphone is almost similar to the Xiaomi 12 in every aspect. Xiaomi 12X features the same 6.28″ AMOLED display panel along with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also comes with the 20-9 aspect ratio, 480Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, 12-bit colors, 1100 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, and more. Xiaomi 12X flexes a triple camera setup where it is led by a 50 MP primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture. The setup is completed by the 13 MP ultrawide camera with f/2.4 aperture with an angle view of 123˚and a 5 MP telephoto lens. It houses a 32 MP selfie camera to snap gorgeous pictures.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G processor. It is an octa-core chipset based on 7 nm processing that clocks up to max. 3.2 GHz. The phone is coupled with 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. You don’t get an extra card slot for memory expansion. Xiaomi 12X gets its juices from a 4,500mAh capacity. It also supports 67W fast charging technology. But it does not come with wireless and reverse charging like other phones in the series. The phone also misses the CyberFocus tech found on the other two smartphones.

Xiaomi 12 Series Launch Date & Price

Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro, and 12X smartphones are launched in China. The phones will be available for purchase in China starting January. After some months, they might find their way into other global markets. As of now, nothing has been made official about the prices, and availability of the smartphone series in other markets. So, stay connected with us.
