NEW DELHI: Realme GT Neo 2 5G smartphone is all set to launch in India. Realme India has started sending out invites for the launch of Realme GT Neo 2 5G in the country. Realme will launch the GT Neo 2 5G smartphone on 13 October in the country. The company has scheduled a virtual launch event for 12.30pm, where it will launch the new smartphone. You can also live stream the event on the company’s official social media handles.
In the invite shared the company has confirmed that the Realme GT Neo 2 5G will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. The handset will feature an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate.
Realme has already launched the GT Neo 2 5G in China last month. The smartphone maker is expected to launch the same variant in India as well.
Realme GT Neo 2 5G specifications (Chinese variant)
Realme GT Neo2 comes with a 6.62-inch Full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass and offers 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM. The company also offers 7GB of virtual RAM with the smartphone.
The handset comes in two storage variants — 128GB and 256GB. Realme GT Neo2 runs the Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of Realme UI 2.0.
The dual SIM smartphone sports a triple rear camera with a 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter.
The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5000mAh battery. Realme GT Neo2 comes with 65W fast charging support. The company claims that the smartphone can charge from 0 to 100% in just 36 minutes.
