Farmers’ protest ‘politically motivated’, Congress should stop misleading people: Haryana CM Khattar
Lashing out at the Congress, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday said that farmers’ protests against the farm laws are “politically motivated” and not all protesters are farmers. “Congress should stop misleading people. A specific section of people is involved in farmers’ stirs. Not all of them are farmers. All such actions are politically motivated and everyone is aware of those who are behind such kinds of statements (against Haryana government),” said Khattar. A group of farmers had met CM Khattar and expressed appreciation after the State Government increased sugarcane price by Rs 12 per quintal.
