The God Goa Board exams for both SSC, HSC students for Term 2 will begin from April 5, 2022 and to continue till April 26, 2022.
Candidates, who are eligible to take SSC and HSC Goa Board Term -2 examination 2022, can check the detailed schedule on the official website – gbshse.info. As per the schedule the Goa Board Term 2 class 12 exams will end on on April 26 while for class 10th students the exams will be concluded on April 22, 2022.
Practical exams from March 1
However, the final practical exams for Class X and XII students of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will begin from March 1 onwards. For students of Class X, the practical exams will end on March 18 and for those in Class XII, the practicals will get over on March 25, 2022.
The board circular states that students will be divided into batches by the schools and all Covid-related health protocols are to be followed by institutes while conducting the practicals.
The material for practicals will be sent to schools before February 24, 2022, the board has stated.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Goa Board has implemented a revised assessment policy for Class X and XII students only for the academic year 2021-22 as of now. As per the policy, during the year, the board — and not the school — will conduct each of the two term-end exams. Marks of the first term as well as second term examination will contribute to the final score.
As per the policy, the internal assessment, practicals and project work have to be strictly carried out by schools as per the guidelines of the board to ensure fair distribution of marks.
All school exams in offline mode
Meanwhile, chief minister Pramod Sawant said that the state government has decided that all examinations for schools for the rest of the current academic year should be conducted in the offline mode.
“The government’s decision is that all exams from now on should be in the offline mode,” Sawant said while speaking about the permission issued on Thursday for all schools to conduct physical classes for children from Class I to XII from February 21.
He said that schools in most other states have already reopened for physical classes.
