xiaomi: Xiaomi 12 may feature curved display, renders suggest – Rashtra News
Earlier this month, Xiaomi confirmed that its upcoming flagship smartphone will be powered by the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Now, OnLeaks in collaboration with Zoutons have rolled out renders of the smartphone based on leaks and rumours, hinting at the design and specs. According to the renders, the Xiaomi 12 smartphone will have a 6.2-inch curved FHD+ display with built-in fingerprint sensor. For context, the Mi 11 features a 6.81-inch QHD+ display.
The renders also suggest that the device will have a triple rear camera at the back that looks similar to the camera unit on the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro. Similar details about the camera unit were shared by a report by Digital Chat Station this month. The report also suggested that the camera module will be positioned on the upper left corner of the rear panel.
OnLeaks suggests that the smartphone will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery. According to previous reports, the device will come with a 100watt fast charging feature.
As per previous leaks on Chinese microblogging website, Weibo, the camera setup on the Xiaomi 12 smartphone will consist of a 50MP primary camera customized from Samsung or Sony along with an ultra-wide angle paired with a periscopic and a telephoto lens. The handset is said to come with a curved 2K display and may offer a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone is said to offer up to 16GB RAM and may have up to 1TB of onboard storage.
