Why some AirTag users are complaining about iOS 15 – Rashtra News
NEW DELHI: Apple recently rolled out an iOS 15 update for iPhone users. However, after installing the update some of the users started reporting issues with their AirTags. As reported by AppleInsider, some of the iPhone users are not able to locate their AirTags in the Find My app after installing the iOS 15 update.
The report suggests that a bug in iOS 15 seems to have removed the Apple AirTag or made it unable to appear within the Find My app. Some of the affected users were able to re-add the AirTag after performing factory reset on the device.
Presently, the bug has affected a small number of users, but it can happen with anyone who has updated to iOS 15.
Meanwhile, Apple has released iOS 15.1 betas for iOS and iPadOS a day after the official roll out of iOS 15. The beta updates reintroduce features like SharePlay, lossless audio for HomePod, vaccine cards in wallet and more.
The SharePlay feature enables users to call their friends and family and then watch TV, movies and also listen to music together. The feature also allows users to share their screens. If the feature works during the testing then there are chances that the iPhone users will get it with iOS 15.1.
Along with this, the HomePod 15.1 beta and the new iOS 15.1 beta now adds Lossless Audio and Dolby Atmos with Spatial Audio support to the HomePod and HomePod Mini.
With iOS 15.1, users will also be able to add vaccination records in the Wallet app, allowing users to provide the vaccination card to businesses, restaurants and other places where vaccines are required.
