Lucknow: More than 24 families who had fled arson-hit Ajizpur village have returned home even as three policemen have been sent to police lines in connection with the violence which resulted in the death of five persons, including an abducted youth.
Station House Officer (SHO) of Saraiya Police Station Ashutosh Kumar, an Inspector and Investigating Officer of the case have been sent to police lines in connection with the arson, Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters) Gupteshwar Pandey told PTI today.
Pandey is camping at Ajizpur village in Muzaffarpur district to monitor the situation and ensure security there.
