The veteran posted a video on his Instagram handle and shared a heartfelt story about how he used to go to practice during his childhood days. Sachin showed a Bus No 315 via which he used to commute between practice and home.
Tendulkar, one of the greatest batters of the modern era, talked about his “favourite seat” on the bus where he used to enjoy the fresh air while returning home. The Master Blaster became nostalgic as he put forth his memories behind Bus No.315.
Sachin Tendulkar’s career
Tendulkar retired from international cricket way back in 2013, but even after eight years, a number of his records remain unbroken. He remains the only cricketer in the planet with as many as 100 tons at the highest level. He accomplished the milestone during a 2012 Asia Cup match against Bangladesh.
Tendulkar made his debut back in 1989 during the tour of Pakistan where the likes of Waqar Younis and Salil Ankola also forayed into international cricket. From there on, Tendulkar didn’t look back and kept garnering one laurel after the other.
He also scored a century while playing for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Moreover, Sachin is the all-time leading run-scorer in international cricket with around 33,000 runs across formats.
Tendulkar was also the first men’s cricketer to score a double century in ODI cricket when he achieved the feat against South Africa in 2010.
