Samsung launches Galaxy F42 5G with 90Hz refresh rate and 64MP camera – Rashtra News
A day after the launch of Galaxy M52 5G, Samsung has launched another mid-range smartphone in India. This time under its Galaxy F series. The company has launched Samsung Galaxy F42 5G with MediaTek processor and a 5000mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy F42 5G price and availability
Samsung Galaxy F42 5G has two variants. The base model packs 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, priced at Rs 20,999. Another variant comes with 8GB RAM and carries a price tag of Rs 22,999.
Matte Black and Matte Aqua are the colour options of the smartphone. It will be available during Flipkart Big Billion Days sale, starting October 3. As an introductory offer, the handset will be available at discounted price of Rs 17,999 and Rs 19,999 for the 6GB and 8GB RAM models. Other than Flipkart, Galaxy F42 5G can be purchased via Samsung online store and retail stores across the country.

Samsung Galaxy F42 5G comes with a 6.6-inch FHD+ display. The phone’s screen has a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and runs on Samsung One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 operating system.
The 5G phone comes with support for 12 5G bands. These include N1 (2100), N3 (1800), N5 (850), N7 (2600), N8 (900), N20 (800), N28 (700), N66 (AWS-3), N38 (2600), N40 (2300), N41 (2500), and N78 (3500).
Samsung Galaxy F42 5G features Dolby Atmos support for both wired and Bluetooth headsets. It boasts of an 8MP camera at the front for selfies. While the rear camera comprises triple sensors. These include a 64MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide lens with 115-degree field of view and 2MP live focus lens. The phone comes with a Night mode feature.
The handset houses a 5000mAh battery. It comes paired with 15watt adapter and USB Type-C charging port.
