Rupee gets .26 point stronger

19 december 2014,New Delhi.

The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas was US$ 58.22 per barrel (bbl) on 18.12.2014. This was higher than the price of US$ 57.29 per bbl on previous publishing day of 17.12.2014.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian Basket increased to Rs 3686.49 per bbl on 18.12.2014 as compared to Rs 3642.50 per bbl on 17.12.2014. Rupee closed stronger at Rs 63.32 per US$ on 18.12.2014 as against Rs 63.58 per US$ on 17.12.2014.
