NEW DELHI- Redmi 10 Prime is now official in India. As promised Xiaomi has launched its latest budget smartphone Redmi 10 Prime in India. Successor to the Redmi 9 Prime, the smartphone comes with a full HD+ display with Reading mode 3.0. Redmi 10 Prime is the first smartphone to be powered by MediaTek Helio G88 processor. The smartphone runs Android 11 operating system and comes with a 50MP quad-rear camera setup.
Price and availability
Redmi 10 Prime comes in two variants — 4GB+ 64GB and 6GB+128GB priced at Rs 12,499 and Rs 14,499. Customers can purchase the Redmi 10 Prime in Phantom Black, Bifrost Blue and Astral White colour options.
The smartphone will be available online on Amazon.in and Mi.com. Customers will also be able to purchase the smartphone offline from Mi Home stores, Mi Studio and other authorised retail stores in the country. The device will go on sale starting September 7.
This new smartphone from Xiaomi will compete against the recently launched Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition. The smartphone comes with a starting price tag of Rs 12,999 and is powered by Exynos 9611 processor. The smartphone runs Android 11 operating system and is backed by a 6000mAh battery.
Redmi 10 Prime specifications
Redmi 10 Prime is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 processor coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage variants — 64GB and 128GB.Users can further expand the storage up to 128GB by adding a microSD card.
Redmi 10 Prim comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution.
The display comes with 90Hz adaptive refresh rate and is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.
The smartphone runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI 12.5. Redmi 10 Prime sports a quad-rear camera setup which consists of 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro sensor. The device houses an 8MP front camera for selfies.
Redmi 10 Prime comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging and 9W reverse charging support.
