According to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022, under the subject area of Arts & Humanities, the University of Oxford tops the list with a score of 98 followed by the University of Cambridge with a 97.9 score with none of the QS Indian Universities Ranked by Subject appearing in the first 100 list of Arts & Humanities stream. However, Jawaharlal Nehru University from India occupies the 188th rank with a score of 68.5 while the University of Delhi occupying 227 rank with 66.7 score and IIT Bombay with a score of 62.7 occupying =333 rank while IIT Delhi and Jadavpur University, Kolkata figuring between 401 to 450 rankings in the Arts & Humanities stream.

Engineering and Technology

As per the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022, under the subject area of Engineering and Technology, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology tops the list with 96.5 score followed by the University of Cambridge with 94.8 score and the University of Oxford with 94.5 score. According to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022, under the subject area of Life Sciences & Medicine, Harvard University occupies the first sport with a score of 99 followed by the University of Oxford with 94.8 score with none of the QS Indian Universities Ranked by Subject appeared in the first 100 list under the Life Sciences & Medicine category. According to the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022, under the subject area of Social Sciences and Management, Harvard University occupies first place with 97.4 score followed by the University of Oxford with 94.9 score and the London School of Economics with 93.7 score.
