Political News: Telangana: Voters sit on dharna demanding cash to cast vote in Huzurabad constituency bypoll

Residents of several villages in Telangana’s Huzurabad assembly constituency have held dharnas to demand cash from political parties in lieu of casting their votes. Dharnas have been held in several villages at village centres or at the houses of sarpanches. The dharnas began after villagers came to know that residents of some villages had been given cash to cast their votes in favour of some political parties. After this, residents of other villages started the demand for cash.
