Political News: Sidhu is friends with Imran Khan and Pak Army chief, will be disaster if he is made CM: Amarinder Singh

Hours after resigning as Punjab Chief Minister, Capt Amarinder Singh said he will oppose any move to make Navjot Singh Sidhu chief ministerial face of the party in the state, saying that he is going to be a disaster and that he has a connection with the Pakistan establishment. Amarinder Singh said, “I have seen Sidhu develop. I am anti his pro-Pakistan attitude. Indian soldiers are being killed on the border, and you go and hug Gen Bajwa and Imran Khan’. I cannot comment on Congress’ performance in 2022 Punjab elections. If Sidhu is made the face of Congress, I will oppose it tooth and nail.”
