Police Station Vikas Puri, West District has arrested two active snatchers Tarunand Praveen and six cases of snatching,theft, auto theft have been worked out. at about 5:00 PM, one boy Sunil Aggarwal r/o Uttam Nagar, Delhi was standing near Uttam Nagar Chowk. Two boys came on a motorcycle and snatched his mobile phone.With the help of one passerby, Sunil Aggarwal started chasing the duo but thelater fled away. Sunil and the passerby reached near Gujranawala Apartment and saw that the duo again snatched the phone of one lady. However, Sunil was able to intercept them and also raised an alarm.
A team comprising of SI Sundeep Yadav, ASI Dhanraj 2616/W, Ct Anil 2246/W, CT Vikram 3112/W under the supervision of SHO/ Vikas Puri nabbed the above accused with the help of public while they were trying to flee from spot. Five snatched mobile phones and one motorcycle Bajaj Discover have been recovered. Further investigation is underway. The staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.
