Tecno has launched its flagship smartphone, Tecno Phantom X in India. The smartphone was already available in several countries since last year. As per Tecno, the Phantom X is the first smartphone in the segment that features a curved AMOLED display. Although the device comes with a 50MP primary camera, it gets an 108MP Ultra HD Mode setup that is claimed to click clear photos.
Tecno Phantom X: Price and availability
Tecno Phantom X will be available for purchase May 4 onwards. Priced at Rs 25,999, the smartphone will be offered in two colour options – Summer Sunset and Iceland Blue. On each purchase of Phantom X, the customer will receive a complimentary Bluetooth speaker worth Rs 2,999 along with a one-time screen replacement.
Tecno Phantom X specifications
Tecno Phantom X features a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display. The display gets a refresh rate of 90Hz. It also gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both sides. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 chipset paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 2.1 flash internal storage. The storage capacity further can be increased up to 512GB by a dedicated microSD card slot.
When it comes to camera, the smartphone gets a triple rear camera setup with 50MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 13MP portrait sensor. For video calls and selfies, the Tecno Phantom X comes with a 48MP + 8MP dual camera setup at front.
The smartphone is backed by a 4700mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
