oneplus: OnePlus 9RT 5G spotted on OnePlus Care app in India ahead of rumoured launch – Rashtra News
Earlier this week, tipster Max Jambor claimed that the OnePlus 9RT will be launched in India on December 16 and now the device has been spotted on the OnePlus Care app. According to a tweet by tipster Debayan Roy, the OnePlus 9RT 5G was listed on the app along with other smartphones launched by the company in India. It looks like the listing is just a placeholder as of now because an alleged listing on Google Supported Devices List hints that the smartphone will be launched in India as OnePlus RT.
OnePlus 9RT was launched in China last month (October 2021). The device is the successor of the company’s most affordable OnePlus 9 series phone, OnePlus 9R, launched in April this year. Though OnePlus has not revealed any plans to launch the smartphone in India yet, it has been spotted on the BIS certification website recently, hinting at the imminent India launch. Also, while the smartphone may reportedly launch with a different name, it is expected to carry the same design and specs as seen in its Chinese counterpart.
OnePlus 9RT specifications
OnePlus RT features a 6.6-inch FHD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a 20-9 aspect ratio. The display gets 1300 nits of peak brightness and up to 120Hz refresh rate.

When it comes to camera, the OnePlus RT gets a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and OIS. The primary lens is joined by a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The camera setup also gets dual-LED flash. The triple camera setup is said to offer hybrid focus and 4K video recording.
In terms of selfie camera, the smartphone features a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 camera with an f/2.4 lens. The front camera also gets electronic image stabilization. At the battery front, the device houses a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery that supports 65W fast charging.
