OnePlus 10 Pro Overview

The OnePlus 10 Pro is the successor to the OnePlus 9 Pro that was launched last year in Nepal. The smartphone arrives with spectacular specs like a 120Hz display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 5G SoC, 32 MP selfie camera, 5000mAh battery, and more. 

Design/Display

Starting off with the design of the OnePlus 10 Pro, the smartphone takes inspiration from Samsung Galaxy S21 series and the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra phone. It has an Integrated metal middle frame and is integrated with 3D nanocrystalline ceramics. The smartphone is thin and weighs only 195 gm. It has a dimension of 163 x 73.9 x 8.5 mm and weighs 200.5 gm. It has a punch-hole cutout at the front that houses the selfie camera at the top left corner. The smartphone comes in various color options such as Black, and Green.

The OnePlus 10 Pro flaunts an enormous 6.7 inches QHD+ LTPO 2.0 AMOLED Display along with a screen resolution of 3216 X 1440 pixels. It also supports a higher 120Hz refresh rate, an aspect ratio of 20.1-9, 92.7% screen-to-body ratio, 5000000-1 contrast ratio, 1300 nits peak brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and 525 PPI density. The phone also supports O-Haptics and X-axis linear motors. For biometrics, it features an under-display, optical fingerprint sensor, and Ai Face Unlock.

Camera  

Turning our attention to the optical features of the smartphone, the phone arrives with a triple camera setup at the rear. The brand has continued its partnership with Hasselblad. The OnePlus 10 Pro sports a 48 MP Sony IMX789 primary sensor with OIS, a 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor as an Ultra-wide-angle camera with 150° Field Of View, and an 8 MP telephoto lens with 3.3x optical zoom with OIS. Whereas on the front, the OnePlus 10 Pro houses a 32 MP IMX615 sensor selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture to snap gorgeous selfies. 

Coming to the videography aspect of the smartphone, the rear cameras are capable of recording videos up to [email protected], [email protected]/60/120fps, [email protected]/60/240fps. The front camera records videos up to [email protected] 

Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC

Under the hood, the OnePlus 10 Pro is powered with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Chipset which also runs Realme GT 2 Pro, & the Moto Edge X30. It is an octa-core processor based on 4nm processing technology that is equipped with an octa-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of up to 3.00 GHz. As for graphics, it has a powerful Adreno 730 GPU. The upgraded configuration delivers substantial improvements in performance.   

In terms of the memory configuration, the device is attached with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage options onboard. On the software front, the OnePlus 10 Pro runs on ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 OS. It also features a hyper boost for gaming.  

Battery and Connectivity

As for the battery prowess of the smartphone, the OnePlus 10 Pro comes juiced with a massive Non-removable, dual-cell 5,000mAh (Typ) battery. The smartphone also comes with the 80W Super Flash Charge support. Moreover, the phone also supports reverse wireless charging and 50W wireless fast charging support. It has a USB Type-C 3.1 to charge the device.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is launched at the price of 4699 Yuan for the base variant 8GB/128GB, 4999 Yuan for the 8GB/256GB variant, and 5299 Yuan for the 12GB/256GB variant in China. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting from January 13th in China. It will be available in the global markets very soon. The OnePlus 10 Pro is expected to be priced around Rs. 89,999 for the base variant in Nepal. The smartphone will be competing with other flagship smartphones in Nepal.
