NEW DELHI: On orders from a special court for cases against elected representatives, the Shivamogga police have filed an FIR against Karnataka minister KS Eshwarappa for making communally provocative statements in connection with the murder of Bajrang Dal activist Harsha.
Although the court had directed police to file a case on March 31, police filed the FIR only on April 6 and have now launched a probe.
