NEW DELHI: Three suspected militants of Myanmar-origin Aung Young faction of NSCN(K) were killed in a shootout with an Assam Rifles team near the India-Myanmar border at Longding in Arunachal Pradesh on Monday.
The troopers accosted the insurgents when they were trying to cross the border with two persons they had kidnapped. “The persons have been rescued,” a source said.
