CTET Result 2021 LIVE Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the result for CTET 2021 today, February 15. The result will be available at ctet.nic.in. Over 20 lakh candidates who took the teacher eligibility test will be able to download their scorecards today. The exam will be held in two shifts from December 16 to January 13.
After releasing the scorecards, the board will release the category-wise cut-off list. This year onwards, the eligibility lifetime of the CTET certificate has also been extended. Now, the CTET certificate will be eligible for a lifetime. This means, a candidate who has once cleared CTET will be eligible to seek job, if they qualify other criteria of job selection, anytime based on this. Earlier, CTET certificates were valid only till seven years.
Candidates need to secure 60 per cent marks in CTET to qualify for the exam. For candidates belonging to the reserved category, the cut-off is 55 per cent. Those who qualify will be eligible to seek teachers’ job in their category. Those who clear paper 1 will be eligible to teach classes 1 to 5 while those who clear paper 2 can teach classes 6 to 8.
