After BJP has retained power with impressive victory in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on March 11 said that election results reflected people’s faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Taking a jibe at Congress party, he added that the party has become a small regional party after this election. “It is a record in itself that BJP achieved a huge majority in assembly elections. It reflects people’s faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. They have rejected Congress as BJP’s alternative.
