The CBSE on Monday, March 14, informed that the board had received a representation from a school a school regarding the answer key of Odia subject in Class-X claiming that the answers given in the answer key for some of the questions were wrong.
CBSE said that the board has constituted an expert committee which will examine the discrepancies raised by students regarding their CBSE Class 10 term 1 answer key. The committee will look into the concerns raised by the students and appropriate decision will be taken soon, the board further said.
The CBSE had declared the Class 10 term 1 results on March 11, 2022. The results were communicated to the schools and was not published on the CBSE website.
Informing about its decision to set up expert panel to address concern of students through a notification issued on Monday, the board said,” It is known that the performance of students in Class 10 Term-I examinations was communicated to all the schools by CBSE on 11.03.2022. CBSE has also made available a Dispute Redressal Mechanism on the same day to address the genuine issues of the students.”
“Subsequently, a dispute has been received from a school regarding the Answer Key of Odia subject in Class-X claiming that the answers given in the answer key for some of the questions are wrong. Therefore, with a view to ascertain the factual position, an expert committee has been constituted by the board which will examine the discrepancies raised in the representation. An appropriate decision will be taken by the Board within 24 hours, on the basis of the report of the expert committee,” the board further said.
