We all know that the Windows key on the keyboard can be used to open the Start menu, but this key can also be combined with other keys to open specific apps and features in Windows 11. Here are the notable actions that you can perform with this key.
Windows key + A – It opens the Quick Settings panel where you can turn on/off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, airplane mode and other features. You can also adjust the volume and the brightness of your screen on this panel.
Windows key + C – This opens Chat with Microsoft Teams. This new feature in Windows 11 gives you a quick panel to see your recent messages and contacts on Microsoft Teams. You can even start meetings and calls directly from here.
Windows key + D – This shortcut shows or hides the desktop. Showing the desktop means all the apps will no longer be visible and hiding it will restore all your apps in their last place.
Windows key + G – This opens the Xbox Game Bar that lets you take screenshots, record videos and access various other features while playing a game.

Windows key + O – This shortcut locks device orientation. For tablets and other convertible displays, this stops the display from rotating when you rotate your PC.
